CARRIER SALES REPRESENTATIVE - THURSDAY TO SUNDAY

DESCRIPTION

As a Carrier Sales Representative, you will be responsible for locating carriers to haul loads that were tendered over by a customer, negotiate rates with the carrier, provide dispatch information and possibly track and trace depending on company set up. Also, prospect for new carriers to haul consistent loads.

Some of your responsibilities will be:

- Strengthen business relationships with the company's transportation providers.
- Find new truck drivers who want to work with us.
- Negotiating with carriers to get the best price possible and book freight.
- Keeping in touch with the clients about the load status. Giving them updates on pick up or delivery and the actual location of the driver.
- Track and trace loads to update TMS in real-time. Build loads in the system, and generate quotes for our customers.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
What would help you succeed:

- Have a sense of urgency and being service-oriented.

- High School Degree or Bachelor´s Degree in Business or logistics related.

- 1 year of experience in customer service, or sales or pricing, or negotiation with suppliers.

- Back Office Background would be a plus in the process.

- Language: Advanced English level. To be able to have a conversation with native English speakers is mandatory.
